I hate to say it but I don't know where I'd be without the beautiful wonders from Pioneer/Geneon. I was literally half couch potato growing up as a kid and it's thanks to them that so many other television company's were able to air these great shows. Now, from what I read in the official article, there wasn't anything said about them stopping any of their productions, so chances are, it's only an Advertising/Marketing & Sales/Distribution loss. This means that there's still a good chance that they will keep all the studios and artists but no longer handle any of the work their parent company, Dentsu, should be doing.

So, the good news about this is that companies who are selling anything that has to do with Geneon will be getting rid of their stuff like it's a live nuke! So, by-all-means INVEST, they're collectibles now too!!
